Executive functioning skills are not about working harder; they are about learning how to work smarter!

Our Philosophy

We believe that every individual is capable of success when given the right tools, strategies, and support. We also believe executive functioning skills can be taught, strengthened, and personalized for every individual.

Many of the adolescents and adults we support are bright, capable, and driven, yet struggle with organization, time management, procrastination, task initiation, and managing competing responsibilities. These challenges can impact confidence, academic performance, productivity, and overall well-being.

Our approach is individualized, strengths-based, and practical. Instead of forcing generic systems, we work collaboratively with each client to develop strategies and routines that align with how they naturally think, learn, and function best.

Through one-on-one executive functioning coaching and personalized support, we help clients build sustainable habits, improve self-awareness, and develop the tools needed to feel more organized, independent, and in control of their daily lives.

Our Team

Dawn Levy

I am a seasoned Learning Specialist and Executive Functioning Coach with more than 25 years of experience helping students, adolescents, and adults strengthen the skills needed to succeed academically, professionally, and personally. Throughout my career, executive functioning coaching has been at the core of my work — both within school settings and through extensive private practice experience — supporting individuals in developing organization, time management, planning, task initiation, study strategies, self-advocacy, emotional regulation, and confidence.

My approach is highly personalized, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based practices. I combine scaffolded academic support with targeted executive functioning coaching to help clients build sustainable systems, develop independence, and better understand how they learn and function best. I also incorporate mindfulness-based strategies to help individuals manage stress, anxiety, overwhelm, and emotional dysregulation, all of which can significantly impact executive functioning. By integrating mindfulness, self-awareness, and practical coping tools into our work together, I help clients strengthen focus, improve self-regulation, and approach challenges with greater clarity and confidence.

Over the course of my career, I have partnered with students, families, educators, and multidisciplinary professionals across a wide range of educational environments, including more than two decades of experience in New York City schools and private practice. I have extensive expertise supporting individuals with learning differences, ADHD, anxiety, and executive functioning challenges, while also managing IEPs and learning plans, coordinating with support teams, and guiding families through educational planning, transitions, and long-term student support.

In addition to my coaching and educational work, I am a co-founder and author of a children’s book series created for struggling readers, reflecting my passion for literacy, accessibility, and individualized learning.

I believe that with the right support, strategies, and mindset, every individual can thrive. My goal is to empower clients to build self-awareness, confidence, and lifelong executive functioning skills that foster success in school, work, and everyday life.

Learning Specialist & Coach

Hannah Vilela

Learning Specialist & Coach

I am an experienced Learning Specialist and Executive Functioning Coach with a background in supporting adolescents and adults with diverse learning profiles and executive functioning challenges. My work focuses on helping clients develop the systems, strategies, and self-awareness needed to manage school, work, and daily responsibilities with greater confidence and independence.

With extensive experience in special education and executive functioning support, I have worked closely with individuals with ADHD, dyslexia, autism spectrum disorder, and other learning differences. Throughout my career, I’ve seen that many highly capable individuals struggle not because of a lack of ability, but because they have never been taught the organizational, planning, and self-management skills necessary for success.

My approach is personalized, collaborative, and strengths-based. I help clients build practical strategies for organization, time management, planning, task initiation, emotional regulation, and self-advocacy while creating systems that feel realistic and sustainable for their daily lives.

I am passionate about helping adolescents and adults better understand how they learn and function best. My goal is to reduce overwhelm, build confidence, and empower clients with the executive functioning skills they need to thrive both academically and personally.
